Is the on-line payment service free?
Yes. There is are no fees for using our online payment service.
Can I use the online payment service if I live outside the United States?
Yes. You may use the service if you live outside of the United States.
How do I navigate from screen to screen through the on-line payment service site?
If you are following a process (like enrollment), use the buttons provided on each page. You should not use your back and forward browser navigation buttons.

What happens if the site is unavailable?
When the site is unavailable, an error page automatically appears. Try again a little later!
Why does the session timeout?
After 15 minutes of inactivity (no movement from page to page), the "Session Timeout" page prompts you to sign in again. This is for your security.
How am I guaranteed my personal information is secure?
Ascent Media's online payments application is hosted within a secure firewall environment and only accessible by establishing and inputting a User ID and Password.
What if my personal or business information changes?
The "Create / Update User Profile" screen allows you to change any information in your profile, including your User ID and Password.
Enrollment
What information do I need to enroll?
You must set up both your User ID and your User Profile. To set up your User Profile, you must supply your name, phone number and an email address. In addition, you will be asked to create a User ID, a password, and a security question and answer. To set up your Account Profile, you must supply your Account Number and billing address at the time of enrollment.
How long does it take from when I enroll to when I can make a payment?
The enrollment verification process is effective immediately. You will have the ability to initiate a payment during the same online session and also in the future by signing on again with your User ID and Password.
How do I create a User ID and Password?
Your User ID and password are created when you enroll. Many people choose the same User ID for many applications on the Web, but whatever you decide upon, you must remember it exactly (it is case sensitive). You may even want to use your email address as your User ID. For your password, use must use at least one letter and one number and the password must be between 6 and 32 characters. Your password must not equal or contain your User ID.
What do I do if I forget my password?
Just click on the "Forgot your Password" link on the sign in page and follow the directions provided. If you are unable to complete the process, contact us at credit@ascentmedia.com.
If the session times out when I am not done with enrollment do I have to start all over?
Yes. When there is no on screen activity for 15 minutes, your session is reset for your security. However, if you have your account information ready, enrollment only takes a few minutes and the session will not time out.
Payments
What type of account do I need for Online Payments?
Any checking account, or the following credit cards – Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover Card – can be used for funding online payments.
Can I obtain proof of payment?
You will be provided a payment confirmation number when initiating your payment. We suggest you print your Payment Confirmation for your records. If you provide a valid e-mail address a payment confirmation will be e-mailed to you.
Can I use the online payment service and sometimes pay by check?
Yes. If it is more convenient for you to send a check you can do so. Please refer to the mailing address on your invoice or you may pay by electronic check.
