Ascent Media uses advanced photochemical processes, along with the most powerful digital tools on the planet, to restore film projects and create archival quality prints, allowing clients to maximize the potential of their archived media libraries. We offer preservation services for color, black & white 35mm and 16mm film, and digital restoration in HD: 2K or 4K. Digital film-recorded YCM separation masters are created from data/DI files and photochemical separation masters are created from OCN. We lead the industry in handling and restoring Nitrate films and set the benchmark for digital stills with digital capture, scanstoration and metadata management.
